FAQs
We hope you will visit us in person soon! Here are some FAQ’s (frequently asked questions) about HWMC:

What can I expect when I visit? Expect a warm welcome. We know it’s a little intimidating to come into a church for the first time. Maybe you are new to the area. Maybe you’ve never been to an Independent Church. Maybe you’ve never been to a church at all. Regardless, you are welcome, and our doors and hearts are always open
Tell me about receiving communion. We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month at the 11:00 am service. There is no purposeful preparation prior to the service, as is found in some denominations. We welcome all (non-members, visitors, and children) to the Lord’s Table.
What is a service like at HWMC?
Whether you have attended church your whole life or you’ve never been before, you are welcome here! Worship is where we seek God with a joyful and open heart. Our service follows an order and style similar to other Christian faith communities. It always includes an inspiring message from Pastor Brad, prayer, and music. We are honored that you would choose to spend an hour of your Sunday morning with us at HWMC.
Do you have anything for Children?
Children and families are a priority at HWMC. We have a weekly Kids Talk message and will provide nursery care for children.
What should I wear?
Come as you are! At HWMC, you’ll see plenty of dresses and suits, but t-shirts and jeans are also welcome.
How do I join?
Come and meet with Pastor Brad to learn the basics of what we believe as Christians and why we believe it. He’ll share our vision and the different paths to becoming a member.
